The four main sectors of comprising NSDO works are as follows:
1. Water and Sanitation (WASH)
Improved Access to safety of Water and Sanitation by ensuring that people can provide for themselves clean and safe drinking water and sanitary facilities.
Conducting geophysical surveys for new boreholes

Construction of mini-water yards

2. Health Services

is our top priority.
Creation of awareness on cholera, guinea warms, Ebola
Running of cholera treatment centres (CTC)
Renovation of health facilities
Installation of solar panels in health facilities
3. Basic Education
Access and Completion of Basic Education
Provision of early childhood development materials e.g. scholastic materials
Training teachers on early childhood development
Construction and rehabilitation of school facilities e.g. libraries, latrines, classrooms
Provision of adult literacy
Training on school gardening
4. Food Security and Livelihood
Sustainable food security
Training farmers on farmers’ field school
Training on agriculture extension services
Provision of seeds and tools
Construction of animal troughs
5. Emergency response through relief support to people in areas of crises
In addition, NSDO is also engaged in:
disaster management by providing relief to people in crisis areas by giving them
shelter, food, clothing and medicines.

management as well as increasing their resilience.
6. Nutrition services
Improved, accountable and reliable Nutrition services through.
Creation of awareness on MIYCN
Establishing nutrition center for the management of acute malnutrition MAM & SAM.
Training of nutrition workers/ Nutrition Community mobilizers.
Provision of Blanket supplemental feeding program to the community GAM is above 15%
Provision of school feeding program.
7. General Protection
Conduct Case Management Training to the case workers for child protection, GBV and psychosocial support Officers.
Establishment of Child Help desks in the project location to identify and strengthen the referral pathways
Training of youths on child protection
Training of women group on income generating activities e.g. beads grafting, tailoring, etc.
Establishment of women and child friendly space.
Capacity building of care giver/ foster parent (CBCPN)
Improving referral pathway for GBV survivors
Conduct safety audit
